A Township Tale 2019 Sneak Peek

A Township Tale 2019 Sneak Peek

Wow wow wee wow, would you look at that? Another year goes by!

Last year, we had another blog post that looked as to what changed with the game since our first public appearance ages ago.

Now, we have so much more to celebrate, thanks to you! Here are some fun stats!

You've become masters of the game, clocking in a total of 11,800+ hours of game time.

The player with the most playtime has 162 hours under their belt. That's more than some of the devs. As in, that's more than Serena has.

The prospect of how much time we can play this game gives us great hope for what VR can be. I still remember a few years ago trying to convince people that one could be in VR for longer than 15 minutes.

This blog, though, we want to go a bit more into what you can expect coming next year. Because 2019, is going to be an interesting year for certain.

People have been asking for ways to support the development. We don't have any details just yet, but there will be ways to support us coming next year. We'll be discussing this with the community early next year, to try and make a system that works well for everyone.

Aside from that, we do have some portions of the game we're eager to focus on.

Next year, we'll see more attention being paid to the 'meta' portions of the game. So things like adding friends, maybe a party system, and in-game menus and so forth.

From a gameplay perspective, it's a bit hard to say what exactly will make it in early. Between fixing the game's issues, and deploying out new systems, it doesn't leave much room for gameplay (early on, at least).

That being said, here are some things currently in the works!

Something along the lines of armor crafting.

A little critter to guide soon to be wayward souls.

And then there's this long slumbering beast of a forest slowly coming to life...

There are other things being worked on at the moment too, but those are probably a tad too spicy for this holiday season.

With that said, thanks so much everybody for all your support, time and stories this year! We love working with everyone, and we'll probably see you online!
