Hi everyone, and Happy New Year! First things first, let me introduce myself. My name is Cayde (they/he), and I recently joined as Alta’s Community Manager near the end of last year. Since then, I’ve been hearing a lot of feedback from the community about proactive communication, and we are listening! This blog, and the upcoming content alongside it, are meant to effectively communicate to you all: what’s going on at Alta, upcoming events, new releases, and introduce some of our team a little more. We are going into an exciting year in 2022 for Alta and A Township Tale, and we can’t wait to share with you what’s in store!

This first post is hopefully going to get you all more familiar with me, since I will be your primary contact on these updates. So, here’s a little about me! As I said already, my name is Cayde, and I’ve always been a gamer. My first console was a Sega Genesis, but I think I spent the most time in my childhood with an N64 controller or a DDR dancepad. Some of my favourite games include Bioshock, Kirby and Legend of Zelda franchises, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and, more recently, Hades! Unlike a lot of the team at Alta, I’m from the States, and when I’m not working, I make a lot of TTRPG artwork, try local breweries, and play with my dog, Cassidy. At Alta, I enjoy problem-solving with the team, posting updates and events, organizing merchandise, and responding to you (yes, I see all of the reviews)!
