Alta Logs #7: Intros - Production

Hi, folks! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.

Now that y’all are familiar with our new Designers, I thought I would introduce some of the folks that keep things on track around here: our Production team! The newest members of the crew are Katie, Nik, and Facundo– and each of them manage different departments here at Alta: Engineering, Art, and Executive, respectively. Please give them a warm welcome– and without further ado…

Katie - she/her - Associate Producer
Katie keeps our Jira flow on point from her abode in California, USA. She is a bit of a daredevil outside of organizing engineering schedules, scheduling meetings, and smoothing out hiccups– In her free time, she enjoys skydiving, hiking, and traveling! Some of her favorite games include Portal 1 & 2, Grand Theft Auto, and World of Warcraft.

Nik - he/him - Production Assistant
When Nik isn’t keeping the art team on track or sorting out meetings, schedules, and assets, you can probably assume he’s writing at his home in Sydney. He’s previously worked with Cat Cafe, the Cat Protection Society, and done Narrative Design (can you tell he’s a cat guy?). He also has one cat of his own named Chicken (shown above)! Some of his favorite games include Dragon Age, Transistor, Hades, and Bloodborne.

Facundo - he/they - Production Assistant
Facundo hails from sunny Sydney. Not only is he stellar in the production department, but his makeup looks are always on point! Some of his interests, outside of assisting the team and applying some killer contour, include anime and rollerskating. He’s a fan of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series, as well as Legend of Mana, The Last of Us, and Horizon: Zero Dawn. He has also done QA for the award-winning RUMU by Robot House, and worked on PAX’s NEXT Exhibit by The Working Lunch, which helps mentor women into games.

Hope you enjoyed meeting some more of the team! We’ve still got a few more intros to go in other departments, but those are for another time. Again, I want to apologize for the delay on this update. As I’m sure many of you read in the Discord, I’ve been dealing with some medical stuff on my end– which brings me to my next point: I am undergoing surgery next week (!!!), and I am on mandated bed rest for about two weeks after the procedure. This means, I will likely be unavailable for that time, and there will be little contact from me– including socials, Logs, and general chats. Don’t worry, I won’t forget about you all, and I’ll be back before you know it.
